The Knockout Lamp is a luxuriously simple hand-crafted delight from Lighten Up Design. In color “Magnolia” (white). Size: 22″ / 16″ Designed with a 3-way socket to use a 50-100-150 WATT (or smaller) light bulb. All lampshades are included and are custom-made for each lamp type. Because each shade is laminated with an opaque paper backing around a low luster satin weave fabric, light reflects up and down, not out. This feature guarantees the best ambient lighting possible. You finished your floors with carefully chosen rugs, tile or wood. You took hours picking the proper paint or paper for your walls. Your window treatments and tchotchkes were meticulously selected to add sophistication and gusto. Your furniture is fabulous. But honey, your lighting is simply boring!LightenUp Design started with a simple belief, that the power of art and design can enhance one?s life and surroundings. Lighting, color and art have an enormous impact on the way we experience a room. Their original goal was to turn the utilitarian lamp into a beautiful sculpture that would add panache and elegance to any space. These sheepskins are tanned into the highest quality leather and dyed a wide range of colors using state of the art facilities. They are meticulously cut, matched and stitched into sumptuous floor rugs, offering luxurious softness and depth. Available in a huge variety of colors ! Bowron Rugs As Christchurch grew, the small tannery, started in 1881 by the Bowron brothers, flourished and a family tradition of excellence in lambskin tanning began. Their commitment to quality has continued and over 100 years later, the team at Bowron continue to make the name “Bowron” synonymous with the world’s finest sheepskin products.To this day, every Bowron sheepskin is the perfect result of the same methods pioneered in the 1880’s by the Bowron brothers from Yorkshire. Their unique 42 step tanning method has been constantly refined and now sits at the heart of the Bowron Sheepskin story. A story of unparalleled access to the finest raw materials available, cutting edge process innovation, environmental leadership, unrivalled manufacturing capacity, strong customer relationships, and a global distribution network that delivers the finest sheepskins to the very heart of world markets. Environmental Care Traditionally the making of sheepskins was done at a cost to the environment with heavy water and chemical use.
